Seven foreign envoys present credentials to President Sirisena
Seven new foreign Ambassadors and High Commissioners accredited to Sri Lanka presented their credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena at the President’s House today (May 6).
The foreign envoys who presented their credentials are as follows:
- Ashraf Farhad Shikhaliyev – Ambassador of Azerbaijan
- Daniel Chuburu – Ambassador of Argentina
- David John Holly – High Commissioner Australia
- Artis Bertulis – Ambassador of Latvia
- Julius Pranevicius – Ambassador of Lithuania
- Bounneme Chouangham – Ambassador of Laos
- Abdulrahman Mohamed AlGaoud – Ambassador of Bahrain
Meanwhile, the President's Media Division said that the only resident envoy is Australian High Commissioner David John Holly while all other concurrently accredited envoys are residing in New Delhi.
