Naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command in Nilaweli arrested seven local fishermen with a Fiber Glass Dingy and a Monofilament Net while fishing illegally in the seas off Kumburupiddi yesterday.
The arrested persons along with the boat were produced to the Kuchchaweli Police for onward action.
