Seventeen youths arrested with narcotics at Siripada
Seventeen youths who had arrived at Siripada were arrested over the possession of narcotics yesterday (Feb 17).
According to the police, the youths had reached Sriripada via the Hatton Road.
A search on the suspects revealed that the youths were in possession of 'Ice', Kerala Cannabis and another narcotic substance.
The suspects have been identified as residents of Galle, Matara and Colombo who are within the ages of 25 and 30.
They were produced before the Hatton Magistrates Court yesterday.
