Shashi Weerawansa's case to be heard in May
The case against Shashi Weerawansa,who is accused of obtaining two passports after submitting forged documents, has been fixed for trial.
Accordingly, the Colombo Chief Magistrate today set the dates of the trial for May 25, 30 and 31 for trial and summoned three witnesses to be present in court on the dates of the trial.
The CID has filed action against Shashi Weerawansa, wife of MP Wimal Weerawansa, for obtaining two passports, including a diplomatic passport, by submitting forged documents.
