Six local fishermen who were engaging in illegal fishing activties in the seas off Kuchchaweli, Trincomalee arrested yeterday by the navy personnel attached to Dockyard. A Fiber Glass Dinghy, two pairs of diving fins and a purse-seine net were taken into custody.
The suspects and belongings were produced to the Kuchchaweli Police Station for onward investigations.
