A six member UNP committee has been appointed to consider party leadership and reform issues
According to party sources the committee comprising six members will put up a report to party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe within two weeks regarding possible recommendations that could help take the party forward.
The six member committee comprises the following members
Ranjith Madduma Bandara
Thalatha Atukorale
Ashu Marasinghe
Vajira Abeywardena
Malik Samarawickrama
Lakshman Kiriella
Meanwhile the UNP last week decided to appoint Sajith Premadasa as the Opposition Leader in Parliament.
