Six persons including four Chinese nationals employed at Colombo Port City project in Kotahena tested positive today, the management said in a statement.
The management said that the employees were temporarily residing at one of the accommodation facilities at the Port City Colombo project tested positive when PCR tests were carried out on all staff.
Following the confirmation of cases, the accommodation site was put under lockdown and movement in and out of the site was restricted.
"Since Port City Colombo resumed day to day operations, all Port City staff have gone through PCR tests prior to working in the project and conducting random PCR tests continuously, and no cases have been reported thus far," the statement said.
