Six Prison Dept officials injured in accident
At least six Prison Department officers have been injured in an accident today where the department bus they were travelling plunged off the road on the Nuwara Eliya-Badulla main road, Police said. The injured including three female officials are currently admitted to Nuwara Eliya General hospital.
According to the police, no prisoner was inside the bus when the accident happened and further investigations are underway.
