SL and Kazakhstan sign Visa exemption agreement

Sri Lanka and the Republic of Kazakhstan have signed an ‘Agreement on Exemption of Visas for holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports.’ The agreement was signed between Bulat Sarasenbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan resident in New Delhi and Mrs. Chitranganee Wagiswara, Secretary of Foreign Affairs when the Ambassador met Foreign Secretary Mrs. Wagiswara on July 4. 

The agreement would further strengthen the longstanding bilateral relations by facilitating and simplifying the travel of those holding diplomatic and official passports between the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a media release.
