The Singaporean Attorney General (AG)’s Department is in the final stages of considering a request to extradite Arjuna Mahendran, the first accused in the Bond Scam.
This was revealed at a Cabinet media briefing held today (Dec 12).
The Singaporean AG’s Department that is currently studying the request made by the Sri Lankan Government to extradite Arjuna Mahendran will inform the Sri Lankan government in another two weeks of its decision.
Co- Cabinet Spokesman Minister Ramesh Pathirana told media while participating at a media briefing to announce the cabinet decisions.
