The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and United National Party (UNP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to a form a national government. This came after Prime minister Ranil Wickremasinghe sworn in at the Presidential Secretariat. The acting General Secretary of SLFP Duminda Dissanayake and UNP General Secretary Kabir Hasheem have signed in the MoU representing their respective parties.
