Party leaders who have extended support to the SLPP are set to meet with President Maithripala Sirisena today (Dec 10).
According MP Susil Premajayantha the meeting will take place at the Presidential Secretariat.
Further, party leaders have met with former President Mahinda Rajapaksa at his official residence in Wijeyrama today (Dec 10). Discussions are reported to focus on the steps to be taken following the Supreme Court verdict as well as preparations for upcoming elections.
