The Sri Lanka Towheed Jamath (SLTJ) group said they would assist the security forces on suspected terrorist groups operating in the country by providing whatever information was made available to its organisation.
The SLTJ has previously provided tip-offs to the State Inteliigence Service in this regard, T. Ahmad, the Sinhala Orator of the SLTJ said.
Meanwhile, SLTJ Secretary Arkam Nooramith urged the Muslim community to extend their support to the security personnel in order to defeat terrorism in the country.
