A special discussion was held to look into the issues of the internally displaced persons and the resettle displaced persons in the Mannar district, at the Presidential Secretariat, yesterday.
The discussions were held under the patronage of Secretary to the President Mr. P. B. Abeykoon, the President's Media Division said.
Under the guidance of the President during the meeting, it was decided to appoint a Special Committee to solve these issues and stated that the Committee report should submit within one month to the President.
