Special committee to monitor documentary script on ethnic groups
A five-member committee is to be appointed to monitor the script of a documentary which is to be produced based on the book 'People of Sri Lanka'.
The book, which contains details of 19 ethnic groups living in Sri Lanka along with their cultures and customs, had been released by the Ministry of National Coexistence in 2017.
According to cabinet proposal submitted by National Integration Minister Mano Ganesan, the committee members would serve as resource persons for the documentary crew.
Cinematographer Bertram Nihal would be producing the documentary.
