A special party leaders meeting on the Land Grants (Special Provisions) Act is set take place today (Jul 8).
The meeting will be chaired by Speaker Karu Jayasuriya at 9:30 am at the Parliamentary Complex.
Matters concerning the Land Grants (Special Provisions) Act which was due to be taken up for debate next Friday is expected to be discussed during the meeting.
Several petitions have been filed at court against this act thereby raising concerns on the suitability to take this matter up for debate.
