With the Sinhala Tamil New Year festive season coming up, the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) launched a special programme for the safety of commuters, local media reported.
According to SLTB Deputy General Manager, Raja Gunathilake quoted by local media CCTV cameras will be functioning around the central bus stand. In addition it is reported that two buses with GPS facilities will be introduced during the season.
Furthermore, a hotline has been introduced for people to lodge complaints, if required.Complaints could be lodged through 0117 -555- 555
