Five more Coronavirus (COVID-19) related deaths were reported today raising the total death toll to 29, Government Information Department said. The victims are residents of Colombo 02, 12, 14, 15 and Wellampitiya areas.
With 429 persons currently under investigation in hospitals, 5,540 active cases are reported so far raising the total number of cases to 12,187, according to the Health Promotion Bureau of the Health Ministry.
6,623 persons have been recovered from the virus and discharged so far.
