President Maithripala Sirisena, on a state visit to Seychelles signed two agreements to improve technological cooperation and uplift vocational training in both countries.
According to the Presidents Media Division (PMD), the agreement on improving technological cooperation was signed by the Moratuwa University and the University of Information Technology in Seychelles.
The agreement on uplifting vocational training programmes was signed on behalf of Sri Lanka by the University of Vocational Technology along with the Seychelles Technology Institute, the PMD noted.
President Sirisena is expected to meet thte Vice President of Seychelles Vincent Meriton today.
