State International Cooperation Minister Susil Premajayantha has said Sri Lanka would maintain friendly relations with all states especially "regional states"and ''close neighbours''.
Upon assuming office at the Foreign Relations Ministry yesterday (Nov 28), Mr. Premajayantha stressed that Sri Lanka would maintain its non-aligned foreign policy, the ministry said in a statement.
He pointed out that President Rajapaksa and his government were facing many challenges in addressing international issues at present.
