STF, immigration officers raid Mirihana Detention Centre
The Special Task Force and immigration officers carried out a raid at the Mirihana Detention Centre today (Dec 5).
Accordingly, 75 mobile phones, six laptops and cash worth Rs 6.5 million had been seized from around 112 individuals during the raid.
Foreign nationals apprehended for violating visa laws are detained at the centre.
