A suspect has been arrested for selling narcotic pills to foreigners in Kakathivu Island this morning.
The arrest was carried out by personnel attached to the Special Task Force (STF).
STF personnel had seized around 100 recreational pills and some 300 pills which are yet to be identified. The seizure has been valued at nearly Rs 1.8 million.
Meanwhile, the suspect has been handed over to the Trincomalee police for further investigations.
