Special Task Force (STF) persons from three camps who are usually deployed for VIP security and providing security to important buildings are being put under PCR tests to determine if they are infected with COVID-19.
This was after 10 STF personnel were suspected to have contracted Corona virus.
The officers are attached to the Kalubowila, Kelaniya and Rajagiriya camps.
Some of them had visited the Peliyagoda fish market which has been the centre from which over 1000 have contracted the virus.
