The Special Task Force (STF) has recovered 1892 bullets near the Serunuwara overpass in Kanatale last evening.
Among the seized ammunition were 1539 M-16 bullets, 126 T-56 bullets, and 79 other bullets.
Further, 153 damaged bullets too had been recovered from the area.
The STF has handed over the seized ammunition to the Seruwila police for further inestigations.
