An employee at a copper factory belonging to one of the terrorist bombers involved in the Easter Sunday attacks has been further remanded until August 5.
The order was issued by the Colombo Chief Magistrate's court today (Jul 29).
Karuppaiah Rajendran Abdullah, the suspect, had been arrested along with nine other workers in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks. The others had been released on bail afterwards.
During today's hearing, Wellampitiya police informed court that they were conducting further investigations on the suspect.
Abdullah was employed at a copper factory in Wellampitiya which was owned by Ilham Ibrahim, who was involved in the bombing at the Shangri-La hotel on April 21.
