Suspect arrested with 1.3 kilos of heroin in Wattala
A suspect has been arrested with 1.37 kilograms of heroin in Dikkowita, Wattala today (Apr 19), police said.
The arrest was carried out during a raid by the Wattala Police.
It is reported that police officers had given chase to the suspect since he had attempted to flee the area in order to evade arrest.
The suspect has been identified as a 35-year old resident of Wattala.
