The Puttalam Unit of the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) have arrested a suspect with 75.4 grams of heroin.
Police Media Unit stated that Rs 262,150 in cash suspected to have been earned through the illegal drug trade was also found from his possession.
The suspect was arrested based on a tip-off on Friday night (11) in Puttalam town while traveling in a vehicle
The 46-year-old suspect is a resident of Thiladiya, Puttalam and was due to be produced before the Puttalam Magistrate today.
