Suspect drowns while attempting to evade arrest
Amunugoda Sanjeewa who was accused of murdering a 40-year old woman has drowned in the Dadugam Oya when he tried to escape from police custody.
It is reported that a special team was sent to arrest the suspect in Anuradhapura.
