Suspect handed life imprisonment term over possession of heroin
A suspect who was convicted over the possession of just over 27 grams of heroin has been sentenced to life imprisonment today (Jul 2).
The order had been issued by Colombo High Court judge Manjula Thilakaratne during a hearing today.
Selvaraj Ranjith Kumar, had been arrested with heroin in Maligawatte on September 13, 2012.
