An individual has been arrested with heroin worth more than Rs 20 million in the vicinity of the Orugodawatte flyover bridge yesterday (May 24).
The suspect was nabbed with 2.2 kilos of heroin by officers attached to the District Organised Crimes Prevention Unit - Wellawatte.
Police have identified the suspect as 34-year old Mohamed Roshan Mohamed Raheem.
He is due to be produced before court today.
