A suspect has been nabbed in the Palliyawatta area in Wattala with heroin and some weapons, police said.
The arrest had been carried out by the Police Organised Crimes Preventive Division yesterday (Jun 18).
Police had seized one pistol with seven rounds of ammunition, a revolver gun, and around seven grams of heroin from the suspect.
The suspect has been identified as 47-year old Raja Premakumar, a resident of Maligawatte.
He is due to be produced before the Wattala Magistrate's Court today.
