A suspect who stole copper rods from a factory owned by an Easter Sunday bomber, has been remanded until June 20.
The remand order was issued when the suspect had been produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate's court today (Jun 12).
According to the police, Sampath Dissanayake, the suspect had committed the theft after breaking the main padlock of the gate to the copper factory.
The factory in Wellampitiya was owned by Inshaf Ibrahim, the suicide bomber who blew himself up at the Shangri-La hotel on Easter Sunday.
