One person has died following a shooting at around 7:05 pm in Ja-Ela today (Jun 5).
The victim has been identified as Ajith Kumara alias 'Kalu Ajith', a resident of Minuwangoda.
He is suspected to be a member of an underworld criminal group.
The identity of the shooter has not been established yet, police said.
