UPDATE : Swiss embassy staffer who alleged to have been abducted in Colombo was brought back to the Criminal Investigations Department to record a statement.
She was brought back from a medical examination at the National Institute of Mental Health in Angoda this morning.
The CID is currently recording a statement from her.
Swiss Embassy staffer referred to Mental Health Institute in Angoda for medical examination
Swiss Embassy employee in Sri Lanka who alleged to have been abducted in Colombo and threatened, has been reffered to the National Institute of Mental Health in Angoda for a medical examination.
This was following her appearance at the Criminal Investigation Department today (Dec 16).
Previously, Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne ordered that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) submit a report on the mental health of the Swiss embassy staffer.
The report is to be submitted to court when the case is taken up for hearing again tomorrow (Dec 17).
