Talawakelle-Lindula UC's Vice Chairman arrested with model ballot papers
The Vice-Chairman of the Talawakelle-Lindula Urban Council has been arrested with model ballot papers yesterday (Nov 15).
L. Bharathidasan, had been taken into custody after 211 model ballot papers had been recovered from his residence, police said.
He is due to be produced before the Nuwara Eliya Magistrate's Court today.
