According to local media reports a stay order has been received preventing Magampura Harbour Worker's Union from entering the premises.
On Wednesday this week, a group of workers who entered the administrative buidling of the Port had remained as they were unsure of their job security.
Relatives of the workers had tried to enter the premises to bring food to those who remained in the building but the port security staff had not allowed them in.
