The term of the Presidential Commission appointed to inquire into the irregularities of SriLankan Airlines and Mihin Lanka have been extended.
The term of office of the Presidential Commission (appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena) to investigate into the irregularities at SriLankan Airlines, Sri Lanka Catering Ltd and Mihin Lanka Pvt. Ltd - has been extended till Feb 15, 2019.
President Sirisena met with members of the Commission at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (Dec19) in order to inquire into the progress of the investigations.
Members of the Commission including retired Supreme Court Judge Anil Gunaratne were present at today's briefing.
