A 78-year-old male died while on admission to the National Hospital, Colombo on Sunday marking the 35th death reported from the virus, Director-General of Health Services, Dr. Asela Gunawardena said.
The postmortem has confirmed that the deceased has been infected with COVID-19 and the death was due to a heart attack triggered by the virus.
