Three arrested with firearm, ammo in Eravur

News

Three persons have been arrested with a firearm and ammunition in Eravur last afternoon.

Police officers acting upon a tip-off had recovered a T-56 weapon with 16 rounds of ammunition, and also a sword from the suspects .

The suspects are residents of Eravur aged between 24 and 30.

They are due to be produced before the Eravur Magistrate's court today.
