Three persons including underworld criminal 'Kanjipaani Imran' are currently being questioned under a 90-day detention order following orders issued by the Defence Secretary to this effect, the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) informed court today (May 08).
The CCD today told Colombo Additional Magistrate Kanchana Silva that the suspects were produced before court in order to conduct an examination today.
Meanwhile, Police also informed court that 27 cases have been filed against notorious underworld criminal 'Kanjipaani Imran' over charges of committing murder, plotting and abetting murders.
Court also instructed the police to produce the suspects before court on June 12 for further hearing.
