Three persons including a mother and her daughter have died in a head on collision between a bus and a three-wheeler in Ambalangoda today (Dec 2).
The mishap had occured when a three-wheeler plying towards Ambalangoda had collied with a bus travelling in the opposite direction in the Uruwatta area.
The victims who were travelling in the three-wheeler had succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at the Balapitiya Hospital.
Three others who sustained injuries have also been admitted to the Balapitiya Hospital.
