Three Indian fishermen have been arrested by the Sri Lanka Navy with 2 kilograms of heroin in the seas off Arippu in Silawathura, Mannar.
The fishermen were arrested early this morning. They will be brought to the Mullikulam Naval Base and handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigations, Navy Spokesman Captain Akram Alavi said.
