A man transporting three kilograms of Heroin was arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) at a signal light in Orugodawatta, Police said today.
The suspect was reported to be an associate of underworld criminal ‘Angoda lokka’ who reportedly was killed in India by poisoning.
The vehicle used to transport the drugs was also seized.
Police have arrested several associates of ‘Angoda lokka’ and detected drugs, weapons and ammunition.
