Three petitions against 19th amendment
Three petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the 19th amendment. The Attorneys at law Gomin Dayasairi and Udaya Gammanpila and Mr I.P.I.Perera have filed the case today challenging the amendment as unconstitutional.
The 19th amendment was tabled at the parliament yesterday.
