Three of the six wanted suspects over last Sunday's terror attacks have been taken into custody as of today, Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
Two of the wanted suspects had died during a shoot out in Kalmunai on April 27 while one is currently hospitalised, the Spokesman told a news conference this afternoon.
The suspects are believed to have committed suicide during the shoot out between security personnel and their suspected terrorist group.
Meanwhile, 44 suspects who were arrested in connection with Easter Sunday bombings are being questioned by the Criminal Investigations Department while 15 are under the custody of the Terrorist Investigations Department.
