A group representing the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) will meet newly-elected President Gotabaya Rajapaksa in near future, Parliamentarian Selvam Adaikalanathan told media today (Nov 20).
Adaikalanathan, who leads the Tamil Eelam Liberation Organization (TELO) welcomed President Rajapaksa’s remarks that he would treat all communities equally and resolve the problems of the people.
Accordingly, he noted that the representatives of all parties constituting the TNA will meet the President seeking to resolve the problems of the Tamil community.
The TNA is composed of the Eelam People's Revolutionary Liberation Front, Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi, People's Liberation Organisation of Tamil Eelam and TELO.
