The Seven Virgin (Saptha Kanya) Hills in Maskeliya would be open for both local and foreign tourists in future, Ambagamuwa Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Jayantha Perera said.
Mr Perera made these remarks today (Feb 23) at a briefing held at the Ambagamuwa area where an inspection tour was carried out by officials. Accordingly, six out of the seven mountains in the range would be open for tourists.
An observation deck will also be setup in the sixth peak of the mountain, the Chairman added.
