The trade Ministry is looking at opportunities of exporting non-traditional goods to Canada.
Trade Minister Bandula Gunawardena today met with Canadian High Commission in Sri Lanka David McKinnon on increasing trade between the two countries.
Detailed discussions were held between the Minister and the High Commissioner on developing a market for the non-traditional exports.
The Trade Ministry said that the High Commissioner pledged support to support the move.
The Ministry Secretary Badrani Jayawardena was also associated with the discussions.
