Transportation in the Lemasthota area along the Beragala - Wellawaya Road has been disrupted after a tree had fallen onto the road this morning.
The Disaster Management Centre said the incident had occurred due to heavy showers and winds experienced in the area over the last 24 hours.
The Police, Road Development Authority officers and area residents are taking steps to remove the tree from the road.
