The RDA said the exit from the Colombo-Katunayake expressway to the Colombo-Kandy road for traffic moving towards Kelaniya-Wattala will be closed with effect from January 10, when construction begins.
“Motorists going towards Colombo (from Katunayake) can use the Colombo-Katunayake expressway as usual. The new six-lane bridge over the Kelani River adjacent to the existing Kelani Bridge (Japan Friendship Bridge) is being built at a cost of Rs. 45 billion and will run upto the new Colombo Port City in Fort. – ENDS -
